This is my apparently ignored letter to True Leaf. I got two emails saying thanks but nothing about they will research the issue.First of all, I am not a new grower of micro greens and have purchased many times from both True Leaf and Mountain Valley Seed. Years of orders and growing. On July 21, 2024, I purchased a pound bag Mountain Valley (says that on the bag) TrueLeaf of Ruby Red Swiss Chard. My Amazon order says it is Sold by: True Leaf Marketgerm date 08/23/23 Please note the germinate date is over a year before my order date. The seeds have been stored in a sealed air tight zip lock bag in my refrigerator. On February 1, 2025, I planted my seed on a sterile coco coir bed in a mesh 2-part tray, as I do with all my microgreens. So far, in all this time, only 3 seeds have germinated- far more time than is normal for chard seed. The seeds are not rotten, the coco is damp and are covered with another tray, creating darkness. The room is 71F, night and day. The tray is on a counter in my grow room, as I usually do.I know chard takes a while to germinate, this an excessively long time. The seeds were sold to me by True Leaf in a 1 pound bag and the Amazon listing says it is Mountain Valley brand seed, purchased 7-21-24. $26.08.I know it is past the 30 days to complain to Amazon but I am complaining to you. I would like a refund from you or a different product of equivalent value and not an OLD bag.Thanking you in advance:Deborah D-------------------------
